Achievement Schools

Achievement Schools - Transforming Schools, Transforming Lives

Our district is kicking off the 2018-2019 school year with a new structure: five geographical areas (Areas 1-5) plus Achievement Schools, a group of 50 high-needs schools that will form their own area.

Every school and every student deserves to be set up for success. Here’s how we’ll make that happen: Equity – it's about giving students what they need. We’ll steer support to our high-needs schools and listen to members of our community to shape our work and raise expectations.

Our Achievement Schools have been selected based on performance data. Focused support and additional resources will stay in place for a school until it earns a "C” grade or better for three straight years.

Florida Test Scores for Students in Grades 3-12

Grade 3 ELA (English Language Arts) test scores are now available online. Please see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for additional information.

Other Florida test scores are expected in July. These test scores are provided by the Florida Department of Education and may be available later depending on when they are received from the state. When Florida test scores are available, notification will be sent to families of students in grades 3-12 by a phone call, email, and/or text message using the contact information listed on the Student Emergency Information Card.

Only the achievement levels and overall scale scores are displayed online. The official home report from the Florida Department of Education remains the primary source of communication to families for Florida test scores. This report may be picked up from the school your student attended during testing after they are made available by the state.
