We are pleased to announce that after months of preparation and self-evaluation, as well as three days of extensive review by a team of educators from across the United States, Hillsborough County Public Schools has been recommended for continued district accreditation from AdvancED/Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the most esteemed education accrediting agencies in the world. The AdvancED Review Team observed over 600 classrooms and district offices in HCPS, met with stakeholders, and reviewed many artifacts and other forms of evidence during its visit from February 15-18, 2015. In addition, Middleton Magnet High School received the AdvancED STEM Accreditation.
HCPS is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI). SACS CASI is an accreditation division of AdvancED.
